Peer Learning Meet ( White Rock and Crestwood)
Peer Learning Meets foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment where individuals can learn from one another and grow both personally and professionally. Participants step into the host school with a positive mindset and maintain objectivity during the duration of their visit.
Peer learning Meet has been designed to achieve the following objectives:
Knowledge sharing: The primary objective of this Peer Learning Meet is to encourage participants to share their knowledge and expertise with others in the group.
Skill development: To provide opportunities for individuals to develop new skills and improve existing ones through peer-to-peer interactions and feedback.
Collaboration: To promote collaboration and teamwork among participants, which can lead to the development of new ideas and solutions.
Networking: To build relationships with others in different branches of the company.
Personal growth: To provide a supportive environment for personal growth and self-reflection, which can help individuals develop their leadership, communication, and other soft skills.
Continuous learning: To encourage a culture of continuous learning and improvement, helping participants stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in various branches of Rothewood Academy. Participants step into the host school with a positive mindset and maintain objectivity during the duration of their visit.
The topics for this Peer Learning meet are:
Gaining Perspectives to Environment as the 3rd Teacher
Gaining Perspectives to Curriculum Planning via Class visits and Presentations with focus on using Loose Parts and Open Ended Activities.
Focus for Baby Classroom: Teacher Child Interactions
All teachers of the host school are encouraged to visit each others classrooms and make notes of at least two practices they would like to incorporate into their class documentation/ display/ invitations as well as teaching.
