Our Vision

At Rothewood Academy Early Learning our passion and belief is to help the individual child embrace their inquisitiveness and creativity through play based and natural play learning environments and activities. Our curriculum is based on inquiry and exploration with the goal of encouraging children to become life-long learners and to be curious about the world.

Rothewood children will discover the world and community around them through exploration and inquiry while building the knowledge and skills which will support them in the future.

Our schools are built on the foundation of respect, where children respect themselves and others with our teachers wholeheartedly providing for  a positive fun, happy and rewarding school experience for every child. Parents and teachers are strong partners in their child’s learning journey.

All our Rothewood Academy Early Learning centres boast of caring, passionate and experienced teachers who work hard to provide a range of high-quality learning opportunities that stimulate and support the individual needs and abilities of each child. This is accomplished by consciously working on providing a collaborative culture, creating a strong sense of community and team spirit.

Strong partnerships with parents and the wider community is an enabling factor for us as we scaffold each child in their individual needs and abilities. This, in turn, provides a comprehensive approach to challenging our students to achieve their best and build self-confidence in their personal abilities.   • Nutrition plays an important role in a child’s development.  All of our Rothewood Academy Early Learning centres have an in house chef and industry standard kitchen. The Chef in consultation with the Principal, teachers and parents carefully choose and prepare a comprehensive Menu of the Week mapped to the Canada Food Guide. We focus on providing fresh, healthy and nutritious meals that avoid any food, which includes preservatives and/or artificial flavors or colours. Meals are adapted for children with allergies/ food sensitivities.
  • Daycare Webwatch -Daycarewebwatch is a leading daycare technology provider committed to enhancing schools communications. Daycarewebwatch provides families with a real-time video feed into your child’s room. All of our Rothewood Academy Early Learning centres use Daycarewebwatch.
